Fall,2008
Adult enrichment takes many forms at UUFCC. There are classes, discussion groups, forums, and workshops for adults that occur at varying times throughout the year. The monthly calendar is usually up-to-date and provides a quick reference to what is happening at any given time. The newsletter and the web site have more detailed descriptions of the many offerings. You can also consult the bulletin board in the lobby of the Fellowship, or ask either Jean Wiant, CRE, DLRE or Rev. Mark Hayes. We would be very happy to discuss with you the adult enrichment program at UUFCC.
In general, the Adult Enrichment offerings take place on Sunday mornings during the Lifespan Learning Hour in the sanctuary and rooms 2 and 6, on Wonderful Soulful Wednesdays, or at other times as determined by either Jean or Mark. The programming in the sanctuary and on Wonderful Soulful Wednesdays changes from month to month, and is posted on the web site, on the bulletin board in the lobby, and in the order of service. The programming in rooms 2 and 6 remains the same from month to month (see below). Additionally, there are a few classes that are being offered at other times: · Writer’s Critique Workshop on the 1st Wednesday of the month, an opportunity for you to read and critique others’ writings and learn in the process, led by Matthew Karasek · “Cakes for the Queen of Heaven” class on the 1st and 4th Tuesdays of every month, an opportunity to learn about ancient goddess worship and traditions, led by Jean Wiant, CRE, DLRE · Spanish class for those who want to learn the Spanish language or improve their skills, led by Leanne Allen. If you would like to see something offered or if you want to facilitate a class, please contact either Rev. Mark Hayes or Jean Wiant, CRE, DLRE. We would be happy to discuss the possibilities with you! LIFESPAN LEARNING HOUR – CLASSROOMS 11:30AM-12:30PM 3rd Sunday –
