UPCOMING YOUNG ARTISTS CONCERT!
A Summer Benefit Concert
for Youth United For Global Action and Awareness
(YUGA)

The performance will include works composed by:
George David Weiss, Richard Rogers, George Gershwin, Ástor Piazzolla,
Talented high school musicians of State College assembled to host a FREE benefit music concert where the earnings will go towards the Because I am a Girl initiative. A global initiative of Plan International, Because I am a Girl creates sustainable projects in developing countries to give girls access to the most basic of human rights: clean water, food, healthcare, education, financial security, and protection from violence and exploitation. Donations are greatly appreciated.
Jazz Trio: Emma Rohan, Alexander Korte, Zach McGowan. Piano Trio: Raina Arnett, Anna Miller, Rosaleen Xiong.String Quartet: Noah Beattie-Moss, Raina Arnett, Alexander Woskob, Charis Lin.

UUFCC Music Series (formerly Winterfest) concert 19 May (Sun), Heidi von Bernewitz and Friends
Heidi von Bernewitz, viola, Rob Nairn, bass, and Svetlana Rodionova, piano, will perform an interesting variety of old and
new music.
Program:
Sunday, April 7 at 3 p.m.
Penn State faculty violist Timothy Deighton will present a program of music from the early 20th century, including works by Hindemith, Debussy, and Rebecca Clarke. He will be assisted by pianist Ann Deighton, flutist Naomi Seidman, harpist Anne Sullivan, and cellist Jonathan Dexter.
