Spirit of Life Workshops led by Rev. Mark Hayes
Spirit of Life Workshops offer participants space, time and community to explore their Unitarian Universalist spirituality. Each focuses on a different aspect of the spiritual life, framed by the lyrics of Carolyn McDade’s song “Spirit of Life”. Like the song, the workshops are designed to be welcoming to Unitarian Universalists of many spiritual and theological persuasions. Participants are invited to claim an inclusive definition of spirituality and recognize the spiritual aspects of their lives.

Our Whole Lives: Sexuality Education for Adults
Linda Eller and Andy Richards will be leading a 12 session class on Our Whole Lives(OWL): Sexuality Education for Adults, beginning on January 17th at 7pm. The course will help you explore sexuality through your values and experiences and enhance communication skills as you increase your understanding of healthy relationships, sexual diversity, and sexuality throughout the life cycle. It is the sexuality education opportunity you probably never had growing up! OWL models and teaches caring, compassion, respect, and justice. It helps adults address their attitudes, values, and feelings about themselves, their sexuality, and others’ sexuality.
Participants are guided by trained facilitators through an engaging program that addresses topics many adults have not had the opportunity to discuss in depth.
Workshop titles include: Introduction to OWL, Sexuality and Values, Sexuality and Communication, Sexuality and Spirituality, Discovering the Sexual Self, Experiencing the Sexual Other, Sexuality and Early Relationships, Sexuality and Developing Relationships, Sexuality and Committed Relationships, Sexual Diversity, Sexuality and Family, Sexuality and Aging, and Sexual Health.
